The Beginning

Real Bristol FC was formed in 2004, when current manager Ben Palmer and long serving left back Wayne Macey left there sunday team and decided to start their own team. Ben and Wayne brought together a youthful squad made up of family and freinds. 9 players from that original team have played all the way through, Ben, Wayne, Matt Brown, Andy and Rusty Richards, John and Jordan Bath, Ash Nixon and Allan Smith. 2 more originals have recently signed up again -Scott Broomfield and David "teepot" Thompson. Ben and Wayne knew that this team would need time to gel. But he had a good bunch of players aged between 16-30 with most at the lower reaches of that scale.

Real have since gone on to be promoted twice and now play in Division 2 of the Bristol Regional league. Ben and Wayne a re confident with the new manager Scott Budding we can achieve a 3rd promotion.
