Real Bristol FC Vs Lazz FC
So after last weeks disapointing friendly vs the City forum it was back to league action at Stad de Stapleton. Today Real faced a world XI in the form of Lazz FC. Lazz have produced a few interesting results so Real were expecting a hard game. Mr Palmer had a few words about what he expects from the team before the game, things needed to be said and hopefully this will get the right response from players for the rest of the season.
On with the action! Real did well for the first 15 or so minutes with passing and moving but couldn't find the end product. After this spell Lazz came into the game and looked the more likely to score. The first half passed by with little action as Real were struggling to get going. Some more strong words at half time were needed and Real responded.
A good start to the 2nd half saw Real apply more pressure and were rewarded when captain ging headed home. Lazz were loosing there cool a bit and Real still applied the pressure. Real introduced sub Lippy and he made an instant impact when he got whacked by a Lazz player whilst still on the floor. Despite the captains request for calm, an argonauts type brawl broke out! sweet!!! After a few decent punches calm was restored and the Lazz player got a red card (not a passport). This effected Lazz as their players carried on moaning and Real took advantage with Scotty Budding scroing his first for the Royals. Real still attacked and had 2 goals disallowed and defended strongly when needed. All in all a much improved performance but theres still along way to go and hopefully theres more to come from the Real squad.
